The Nerium Ripple

When Nerium Brand Partners launch their personal development journey with our Real Life Library and other achievement tools Nerium provides, it builds a solid platform from which they can more comfortably and confidently reach out to help others.
The Nerium Edge Because Nerium is devoted to our vision of "Making People Better," we launched The Nerium Ripple program, which challenges Brand Partners to individually take responsibility and collectively change the world. The Nerium Ripple’s core cause is to create positive change, or positive ripples, in everyday life; to create an environment that fuels camaraderie, sharing, and growth; to pay it forward and create a better world in the process.

PAYING KNOWLEDGE FORWARD

Success Foundation One of the ways Nerium accomplishes these goals is through partnering with non-profit associations, such as the SUCCESS Foundation. This partnership helps give back to the next generation through the Success for Teens initiative. Through this initiative, the Success for Teens book was created based on The Slight Edge principals of our founder, Jeff Olson. Nerium also holds free Success for Teens workshops at its national events. The SUCCESS Foundation was established to encourage today's teens to become tomorrow's achievers. Nerium is proud to partner with the SUCCESS Foundation to help pursue this purpose.
Big Brothers Big Sisters In another effort to further The Nerium Ripple program, Nerium has partnered with another non-profit association called Big Brothers Big Sisters of America. This organization embodies our belief in the "paying it forward" philosophy in a real and practical way. Says Co-Founder and VP of Marketing and Culture Amber Olson Rourke, "The biggest ripple you can create is by impacting the life of another. Big Brothers Big Sisters is a natural extension of The Nerium Ripple. We look forward to seeing Nerium Brand Partners fill the need of 'Bigs' across the country and impacting their community in a 'big' way!"
The mission of Big Brothers Big Sisters is to foster positive and enduring one-on-one mentor relationships with children facing adversity. Learn more at www.bbbs.org/nerium.

RIPPLE STORIES

"This year, I wanted to do something different for Thanksgiving. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. said that "Service is the rent you pay for taking up space on this planet." In that spirit, I decided I wanted to teach my children about serving humanity. Living in New Jersey, my wife and I were effected by Hurricane Sandy and had to evacuate after two days without power in order to keep our children warm. After learning of the more tragic stories of families losing their entire homes, we grew grateful that all we lost was power. We have a family friend who owns a non-profit shelter. We learned that she was going to be feeding families effected by Sandy, in addition to homeless and less fortunate families. I decided this was the perfect opportunity to teach my five children about serving and how The Nerium Ripple works. We all served together at the shelter, and it felt great to help in a small way.”

“Last Sunday, we did a Walk to Cure Type 1 Diabetes. Although we were traveling a lot, we organized a walk team last minute. Last year, I planned way ahead and raised $1,000. This year, in about a week, our amazing Nerium team donated over $7,000! Several National Marketing Directors started this Ripple by donating $1,000 each and our teams followed. We are still getting donations from the team and we will continue to fundraise until the end of the year.”

“This past weekend, we threw our annual Halloween party. My children wanted to create a Ripple by collecting contributions from their friends who attended to benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of America. Cade (13) and Callie (11) raised $848 among their friends! In addition to the donations, we asked many of the kids to write words of encouragement to a teen or tween involved with the organization. They spoke from the heart to a stranger who might need it."
